Direct sound error may occur because the sound drivers of your system are not functional. You have to check if the sound drivers for your system are well installed. If you are not sure about the state of the sound drivers, then you can reinstall them. Run Magix music maker again as an administrator. You can do this by left clicking on the application then selecting the run as administrator option.

If the error still pops up, then you have to reinstall the Magix music maker again, the error could be due to corruption of some files that are essential for the functioning of the software.
