Maybe the upgrade you did on your Microsoft .NET Framework affected the supposed processes of your program. If Microsoft .NET Framework is really required by your program then might as well try reinstalling your animal feeding software to try fixing the problem. But if it is not required by any other programs on your computer then you may uninstall it.

If Microsoft .NET Framework is required then try reinstalling both programs. Uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework and your animal feeding software then restart your machine when asked. After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics test on your machine, use disk utility applications like Norton Utilities, or PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Install Microsoft .NET Framework first followed by the animal feeding software then check if this fixes the problem.

Sometimes there are applications that are dependent on a specific version of Microsoft .NET Framework and I’ve used one or more of those applications. If a program requires Microsoft .NET Framework, they sometimes tend to work properly on a particular version. When you uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework and replace it with a higher version, the application that requires Microsoft .NET Framework tends to loose compatibility and stops working properly.

If this is what happened on your program after upgrading Microsoft .NET Framework, that means the program’s compatibility is locked on a certain version of Microsoft .NET Framework. There is no workaround on this but to install back the version of Microsoft .NET Framework that worked on your program.

If you need to install a newer version of Microsoft .NET Framework, you don’t need to remove the old version or any old versions because all versions of Microsoft .NET Framework works side by side. I mean, you can have multiple versions of Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your computer without having any problems.

So, to fix your problem, reinstall the version of Microsoft .NET Framework you previously removed to make the program work again. Here are different versions of Microsoft .NET Framework you can download:
