Hi

How do you say that the Flash drive is corrupted?  You said that when you put data on it you cannot see but size is decreasing. That means you only cannot see the files. Isn’t it?.

Before going for the recovering process first try this on another open source operating system. Perhaps then the files will show.

I could provide an absolute solution if you had mentioned the operation system that you are using. If you using the Window 7 operating system go to the “Organize — > folder and search options” and then in the “View” tab unable the “Hide protected operating system files option” and then see whether you can see the content in the flash drive.

Thank you

Hi Dianne,

You can recover your files successfully using an application/software called 'Recovermyfiles' which you can download the trial version for free from the following site: http://www.recovermyfiles.com/

Once you have downloaded it, install it on your system and then plug in your flash drive. Run recover my files and choose the flash drive as the drive to recover your files from. Wait for the process to finish and from the list of recovered files, choose the ones that you may want to save.

Hope this helps.
