I have a 8GB Pen drive. The last night I am trying to copy some file into it.
But not able to do this.
A Popup window says to format it.
I am trying several times to format it.
Is there any solution or software to format it?

If Windows still recognize your pen drive, you can access it through Disk Management.
Please see below the procedures:
1. Right click on My Computer and click Manage
                                                     Â
2. Click Disk Management
3. Select drive letter of your pen drive (You should see your pen drive in the right part of the window)
4 . Right click it and choose Properties
5. Choose the Tools tab and click Check Now button (under Error-Checking)
6. Check all disk options then click Start button (You should check automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors)
Please take note that you will wait to finish surface scan to fix bad sectors to your pen drive.
When it has finished, double click My Computer, right click your pen drive then format or you can go back to Disk Management window in order to format your pen drive.
By this time you will select the drive letter of your pen drive then right click and choose format.
PS: Please try to isolate by plugging your pen drive to other computer or laptop. If it cannot detect or cannot recognize by the computer, I would say that your pen drive is defective.

When you check format. a new window will appear. This is the formatting screen that you are seeing here.
Now, check the Quick Format first then start formatting your Pen Drive.
Just wait for the format to finish and then do this formatting setup once again but this time, remove the check on the quick format check box. Then wait for the format to finish.
If the format is not successful then you have a defective device.
Try to avail it warranty if it is still available. Go to the shop where you bought and have it replaced.
But if your don't have the warranty then I suggest that you buy another one or a different device.
So,your flash drive asked you to format it before you could use it?
In this case,firstly,recover your data off the flash drive with data recovery software.
