I still get error code 0x80040304 when I try to target a duplicate after a few days on Windows 10. Any ideas? I even restarted without any changes.
Fixing 0x80040304
Under Auto Backup, click More Options, and then go down and click Stop using the player. Then you can select a backup option and add the drive in which you are locked. This will solve your problem.
