This problem has been exciting by many users. To solve this temporarily you need to run your PC in safe mode. For doing that, during the time of starting press F8 continuously and then from the advanced boot menu select safe boot. This will work.

To solve this permanently you need to either go to the older and more stable version of Thunderbird or you need to create a new profile in Thunderbird. For doing that go to settings and then select the option to delete the current profile and then create a new one. Bythis method you will lose data of the previous profile.

If that problem always happens and installing the latest version is not helping, check if your computer is compatible with Mozilla Thunderbird. The latest version of Mozilla Thunderbird at the moment supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 including Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2.

It requires Intel Pentium 4 or faster processor with SSE2 support, 1 GB RAM, and 200 MB free space. If your operating system is supported, try installing the latest Service Pack. For Windows XP, download Windows XP Service Pack 3. This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. For Windows Vista, download Windows Vista Service Pack 2.

This is the latest and also the last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista. For Windows 7, download Windows 7 Service Pack 1. This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7.
