Fix Google Chrome has stopped working Windows 10

I have upgraded my Operating System from Windows 8.1 version to Windows 10 but since then, Google Chrome has stopped working. The icon for Chrome is visible on the desktop but it doesn’t run the application. Please help me to get the Chrome working!

Sometimes, Google Chrome doesn’t work after some OS upgradation due to Microsoft’s installer automatic settings. It automatically sets Chrome’s execution for previous Windows compatibility mode. To change the settings:

Go to the Properties of Chrome by right-click on the icon. Then, under Compatibility, uncheck the checkbox for ‘Run this program in Compatibility Mode’.
