Hello,

I am using iMac and running Final cut pro X on my system and I want to export video using this software. I can’t do anything with this video until I export it so I urgently need your help. The following error appears when I try to export video. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The operation couldn’t be completed. One or more projects or events were created with a newer version of final cut pro X.

These projects and events will be ignored.

Hello,

This is common error and it is a update problem. Application you are using should be updated through App store (you have a app store icon on your desktop). Application should install an update and work ok. Apple has not done a good job of preventing fragmentation of their update systems in this instance.

You can easily fix this issue but you have to update the version to 10.0.5. When you launch this updated version then your projects and events will be open as updated files. You can backup the preferences by downloading Digital Rebellion's Preference Manager when you start your final cut pro.

I am sure you can fix this issue by updating your software.
