Hi experts,

I tried to generate a fresh queue manager in WebSphere MQ 7.1 and attempt to create a user ID, which is a MQ administrator, using a patron link. However, an error occurred with a motive code of 2035:2035 MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED.

IBM WebSphere MQ
Access not permitted. You are not authorized to perform this operation. (AMQ4036)

The MQ Administrator, in the slightest bit, gained admittance by lacking glitches through other MQ queue managers at version 6 or 7.0.x.

My question is, Can I figure out who these other queue managers are? If yes, how can I get them? Any answer is very much appreciated. Thank you!

This is a clear case of having not the required amount of administrative privileges for the right thing to do. You need to make sure that you have all the rights access to perform this task as it sometimes requires few operations to be done on administrative level.

First thing to do is, if you are the administrator by yourself, then think of it as there is a software who is causing this error. Close any other program or antivirus that can possibly hurt this scenario.

After that, if you are not the administrator, then login as administrator or contact the admin to give you the required access to certain rights for sometime till you finish with the operation.

Since the error is display a Security 10 warning, means that you are violating the level 10 security. Do read the instructions manual for this thing too so that to see what this level 10 means.
