When I try to delete a backup edition from the Acronis True Image Home 2011 I am getting the following error message:
 Acronis True Image Home 2011 Fails to Delete Backup or Create an Incremental Backup
Causes: other software (e.g. Â Using earlier version, antivirus, window explorer etc)
To solve this issue:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
1. Is your  version of Acronis True Image Home 2011 is earlier than Build 6868:
Then Update Acronis True Image Home 2011 and try   to delete a backup version again. Check this site for updates:  :
2. If  Build 6868 is installed,
Check and unlock your archive if it is locked by another software (e.g. antivirus/window explorer)
3. You can add tib files and/or your backup locations to exclusions in your antivirus settings.
4. Also, you can restart your computer to force applications to release the backup file.
