Hello,

I am trying to install Microsoft HTML Rendering Engine 7 using Crossover Installer but I am unable to install this software because of the following error saying “The installer has exited but Microsoft HTML Rendering Engine 7 does not seem to be installed”. The given options did not resolve the problem. Suggest me properly.

Hello William,

It's definitely an installation error. You can take one of the below route to workaround the error:

  1. Click Try Again, after verifying that you have closed all other open applications
  2. If option 1 does not work, try Skip This Step. Sometimes the installations go through regardless of such alert messages during installation
  3. If you are using a disk to install, Delete all temp files and copy the installation file folder on to your local computer. Try to install again.
