Windows 7 is the latest version of Operating system by Microsoft. Windows 7 is really a good Operating system and it is easy to use.

You have install Windows 7 in your PC. Your Pc is capable of running windows 7 easily. Your configuration is fair enough to run windows 7. But 64-bit Window 7 needs more than that to run smoothly in your PC. Your RAM and Graphics is not the issue or fact.

You can use updated drivers of your component to run windows 7 better. If you can change your Processor you will have no  problem of running windows 7.

The installed RAM on your computer is enough to run Windows 7 64-bit. But adding more RAM will have a much improve operation. Windows 7 supports multi-core processors. The 32-bit version of Windows 7 can support up to 32 cores and Windows 7 64-bit can support up to 256 processor cores. The 64-bit version of Windows 7 requires 20 GB of hard disk space so you really need to partition your hard drive that is big enough to hold the system files, application files and the swap file.

To improve the performance in the paging system, create a FAT 32 partition in your hard drive about 3 times the size of your RAM. Use this partition exclusively for Windows 7 page file. The access time in FAT 32 file system is quite faster than NTFS file system.
