Hi,

I am using Microsoft Excel 2007. I want to know in Excel how to reverse series of rows. I try it every where but I did not find. If any one know then please tell me how I do.

Hi Helen,

Here are the steps of reversing series of rows.

1. Highlights the row you want to reverse.

2. Press Right Click in your mouse and then copy the row.

3. Press the right click again after you copy.

4. Put your arrow in the other cell then do the right click you will see paste special, press that.

5. You will see paste and operation below there you will see small box the first box is skip blanks the other one is a Transpose. Check Transpose then press ok.

When you do that you will see your rows were reverse same command when you want your column in reverse. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Hello Helenmarmstead,

The solution that I am giving you below is going to help you reverse a series of row in an Excel Microsoft 2007. This is how you go about it:

·        First, make a column for the row number after opening Excel spreadsheet.

·        Then insert digit 1 in the cell for the first row

·        In the cell below, proceed by making a formula e.g. add digit 1 to the cell above which will gives you a result of digit 2

·        Past this formula downwards to the rest of the columns. This will help you fill the row number correctly.

·        The following step will require you to use copy and paste special of the created column onto itself. You can easily do this by clicking on the option menu and then paste value. By doing so, you are actually converting the formulae into actual number.

·        The final step just requires you to use the row number column to order the row.
