The firewall does not protect your computer from Malware,viruses etc. It only prevents your computer from not to come in contact with another computer on the internet because you don’t want to share your personal information with someone else over the internet. You can face problems in future if you do not have any antivirus installed in your computer, because you can't rely on firewall as it does not provide any security against the viruses.

For complete safety and security it is necessary that you must have some good working antivirus. Among top anti viruses that works fine are Bit Defender, Kaspersky and Trend Micro. There are some other anti viruses too but that may slow down your computer speed.

I would like to tell you that its better to install an antivirus program in your system even if you have a firewall program. This is important because nowadays there are many intruders,Malware,viruses,Spyware etc that are present on the internet. They are dangerous to your system and they can harm your important files. In order to protect them from the intruders you should install the antivirus program which has its own firewall which protects your system and does not allow unauthorized people to access your files and data on the web.

All you just need to do is install the antivirus program on your computer and update it and run a full system scan. Just remember to update it daily and your system would remain safe forever. There are many antivirus programs available for example Norton Internet Security,Kaspersky Internet Security etc.
