Hello,

I was trying to change some track information in Rhythmbox by choosing properties and by right clicking on a song. I encountered an error message once when I have made changes. Do you have any idea? I have searched from internet to resolve this problem. I need your assistance to fix this general stream error. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

    Have you updated to latest Ubuntu version? If so wait for further updates or else downgrade to previous version. There is a bug with latest version, which doesn’t show some song information. Try Ubuntu 12.04 with RB 2.96, which seem to be working fine.

In the meantime you can try editing songs with other formats (.m4a or mp3). When reproduced your case scenario, it was MPEG4 files which are having issues.
