If this is the error thrown on your mobile phone when starting either of your browsers, you just need to reinstall both of them. This error can happen if the browsers come pre-installed with your handset when you bought it. Sometimes they install outdated versions or maybe because sometimes because the unit is not purchased immediately, the installed applications become outdated.

It can normally be fixed by updating the outdated apps and it should be back to normal. If the app doesn’t provide any latest release and it no longer works properly just delete it from your phone. In your case, check if you still have the installers for your browsers. If both browsers come pre-installed with the handset, just delete them since you cannot open them and update them.

Use your PC to download a browser for your handset. If your handset runs on Android, you can download Firefox Browser for Android. It requires Android 2.2 or higher. Another web browser that provides a mobile version is Google Chrome. If you want this on your mobile phone, visit Chrome Browser – Google. It supports Android 4.0 and higher.

You can also try my favorite web browser, Maxthon. Download the Android version from Maxthon Cloud Browser for Android 4.2.4.2000. It is also available in Google Play, Maxthon Web Browser – Fast. It supports Android 2.2 and later.
