Hello all,

I am new at this and I am using this software for the very first time. I am trying to resize several images, which I need for my university project. All were taken on the very same date.

I have successfully resized 60% of the images, but unfortunately, I cannot resize the remaining pictures. When I try resizing them I am met with an error.

The print screen of the error is attached below:

Resize completed with problems Image resizer was unable to resize the following picture

I don’t know where and what went wrong. If anyone can please guide me through resizing, I'll be grateful.

Is there anything I am missing in the system settings or the software settings?

Any ideas are most welcome.

Regards.

Hi,

Why Don't You Trying Picasa & Photoshop For Re-size Of Images. Ok I Will You Tell You One Solution, first you choose the image as you like, and open the image, and adjust the image to screen and press the prtsc button on the keyboard, at the right side. And open the paint, and press the Ctrl+V in the keyboard.

Finally click & drag at the end points of the image corner as you like.

Hi Jessielucyy,

If you are able to resize photos before you can try to check what changes were done prior to using the software. If you have tried to resize using other programs then the best way to resize it is by using the crop functionality. You can also try using online websites meant for resizing pictures, one is IrfanView, then Google Picasa, and lastly, The GIMP. These are online sites and does not require any software to be installed.

Hi,

Open your photo in photoshop, go to file>open, select the photo you want to edit.

Pick the full resolution file, not a previously resized version. if you use a light room then right click on the image and then select Edit> Open in photoshop.

Always edit problem areas in full resolution,so either do it using lightrooms built in tools or in photoshop.

You can down sample the image to lower the image resolution by going to image>image size, you will see a dialog box, select target resolutions, check on proportions on the bottom.

Type target pixel in the width inbox input select next to it. As you type the width the height will adjust to smaller number.

Select re sampling method of your choice and click ok and save.

Hello, Jessielucyy.

You can use common software to resize your images needed. Like photoshop, this software are very known to in editing pictures. But, while you converting your image on the software you used, error appeared because of some simple issue regarding to the size or resolution requirement needed by the software. Try to check any before converting your images.

Best regards.

Try resizing it again but do it for that special image, it seems that Image Resizer is pushing its limits to give you a better service as it boils out and fails to resize the image. This time, check all the necessary parameters that best suits your image resizing techniques. If you cannot resize it well, I recommend to use another image resizer such as Photoshop and Picasa.
