Hi, I'm having difficulty in installing a program.

After uninstalling Kaspersky 2011 and rebooting the computer, I installed the 2012 edition, but the following error occurred.

I didn't know what to do. So, I installed getsysteminfo, though it did not change much.

So, I installed the anti virus removal software to make sure everything is running ok with my computer.

I restarted the computer numerous times, but still, I am getting the same problem.

Please help me.

Error 1935. An error occurred during installation of assembly “Microsoft.VCB0.CRT,type=”win32”, publicKeyToken=’ltcob.ie side.3b, version=’0.0.50727.762”,processor Architecture=”and64”, Please refer to Help and support for more information

For this error, you need to do clean install of Kaspersky version 2012. Clean install means uninstall first the old version from your computer. You need to uninstall it complete including the registry entry. After uninstall the old kaspersky, use registry cleaner to clean your registry and remove unnecessary files that you don’t need anymore. After that, install the new version. You may try also to run anti malware like malwarebytes to ensure that it is not malware that causing the problem. If the error still occurs, you might need to reinstall your windows. This is not recommended but if you really not solved the problem by some of my recommendations from the top, you really need to re-install your windows.

Kaspersky, like any other application, needs to be installed on a compatible system. Before installing any version of Kaspersky, check that your computer meets the requirements. That error you have clearly indicates that you are installing the program on the wrong version of Microsoft Windows. The version of Kaspersky you are installing is x86 or 32-bit but your machine is x64 or 64-bit.

You won’t be able to install a security product in this state. To fix the problem, download and install the 64-bit version of Kaspersky. If you still have a valid license, download Kaspersky Internet Security again from the official website. You can also download the latest free trial which works for thirty days (30) free of charge.
