I have installed Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, when I try to re-patch the game I will receive the error message. I have gone through many forums on this topic.
Company of Heroes 2.100 – 2.103 (Starting for this Patch)
I download the patch by using Filefront, Fileplanet but still getting the same error. And also I am unable to update it.
OS is Windows 7 32 Bit.
An error occurred while patching the file C:ReIicEngineArchivesEngine.sg&. The patch may be corrupt, or the file may be different from the version the patch was created for. If you cannot resolve this problem, please contact THQ technical support, (Error code 10104)
An error occurred while patching the file – Error Code 10104
This error can be caused by a number of reasons. The most common reason is bad RAM sticks, CD/DVD drive errors or if you alter the game files by any means, like mods.
The first thing to try will be to uninstall completely the game and also check the installation folder and delete anything that is left inside. After that do a reboot and install Company of Heroes again without any mods or skinpacks. Then try patching it again.
