I am in the problem, trying to solve the File error. This error resulted when I try to install the Pinnacle PCTV version 5.4.1. I tired these methods to solve the error but nothing worked. I tried to update the drivers through Device Manager but it states that no new version is found. I am in the critical situation, Please help. Thanks.

The error “Access is denied (0x5)” signifies that a device has failed and an arbitrator is not present. This type of error occurs when there are firewall restrictions or user restrictions in your computer. It means that in order to protect some important data the system is not allowing the admission to other users. You will unable to handle files and may not be able to execute certain tasks such as restore, edit or delete.
This problem may occur due to the result of corrupted driver. So, update your drivers and then uninstall and re install the device. Or, download the latest software from Pinnacle. Check your tv cards as well. If your driver is installed properly then use Windows Media Center for viewing and recording tv. Run the Windows Media Center and go to tv settings, if the tuner card is available then you can scan of your channels.
