I have tried my level best and now I am quite hopeless with impl guides as I did not anything worthy which can help me to sort out the issue.

Internal domain name – company.local

External name – company.com

Claimbased works fine for crm.company.local

Can you people please suggest me whether I need ADFS proxy to get access my CRM externally or not? May I need to use auth.company.com or something else in this case?

I am done with the installation of ADFS proxy and it was trust established. However, the time I try add third party it resulted me with a “403 Error”. Please make confirm me about auth.company.com should have the IP of ADFS Proxy or not?

A Proxy Server is a server that stays between you and the internet connection. Most of the content filtering and site blocking jobs are done by Proxy Servers. In the above case the main reason must be that, Most probably the site where the software fetches data must be blocked, if not check the Firewall and enable the software to connect to the internet without any limitations.
