Hello,
This is the note with error that I have when I want to install some new maps on my laptop. I want to install some new maps on GPS also I am thinking maybe would be good to test them first on my laptop. I am blocked with both processes and no idea how can this note be solved. Techyv experts can you help me to fix this one? Should I install the new maps directly on my GPS?
Thanks!

Error occur installing some maps on GPS
If you want to install new maps on your Garmin GPS, it is better to use free maps rather than commercial maps that are sometimes expensive. To install a new map, you need an expandable Garmin GPS, microSD card, and a card reader or a USB connector and a Garmin driver software. First, to get your free maps, you may consider visiting any of the following:
To load the map directly to the GPS’s SD card, remove the battery compartment at the back. The SD card is the one to the left of the battery, the little sliver. Gently push it in and it will spring out. Once it is removed, save your maps in the SD card. See image.
Using a Garmin driver software and USB cable, connect your GPS to your computer and start the Garmin software. On your GPS, go to menu screen, Setup, Interface. Click USB Mass Storage and your GPS will now become a USB drive on your computer. See image.
