I was updating my iPhone and all was going well when suddenly the update failed. Now my iPhone won't turn on. I tried to restore my iPhone to the previous version but an error occurred. The error was "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3194)." I tried it several times and the same error occurs. What can I do to solve the issue? Can I directly update without restoring the iPhone?

The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (3194) – this error can be because of iTunes.
iTunes keeps throwing up this error. In most cases, it’s because of a simple problem with the hosts file.
Here are the steps to fix it
For Windows,
1. Go to C: /Windows/System32/drivers/etc/
2. Search for the file named “hosts”

For Mac,
1. The file Hosts is in /etc/
Open this file with Notepad (or any text editing software)
2. Search for the line: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
either comment out this line by typing a single ‘#’ or remove the line entirely.
3. Save the hosts file.
4. Try updating your iPhone through iTunes.

Hope it helps!
