Hi,

 

I got this error message while runs the configuration Wizard for installing SharePoint 2013 Preview, any ideas where the problem could be?

 

Configuration Failed

One or more configuraon settings failed. Completed configuration settings will not be rolled bad( Resolve the problem and run this configuration wizard again. The following contains detailed information about the failure:

Failed to create the configuration database. An exception of type System.Management.Automation.CmdletInvocationException was thrown. Additional exception information: ErrorCode<NonDomainNWService>:SubStatus<ES0001>:Service running under Network Service account in workgroup environment is not supported. 

To diagnose the problem, review the application event log and the configuration log file

located at: C:ProgramFilesCommonFilesMicrosoftSharedWeb Server Extensions14LOGS

Hi there,
 
First of all make sure you have all the SP packs installed correctly as not having them will cause this error.
 
If your system is all up to date, you have some issues with authentication and active directory. Try the following to solve the problem:
 
Run the installation using the domain account instead of the local machine administrator account. 
 
Make sure your farm account has all needed rights and that your Domain users group have the access to the active directory.
