Error message when using Fields

I have AutoCAD LT 2012 and I am having problems using it.

I always have an error in whatever I want to do with AutoCAD such as edit, update and insert on fields.

I posted the screenshot of the error below.

AutoCAD LT

There are no registered modules to edit fields or demand loading is currently disabled.

OK

When I click on the OK button, the field will be emptied. And also, the BEDIT command which I just used few days ago suddenly stops working. I updated everything that is needed, but keep getting the same error message.

What can I do to fix it?

Can someone please help?

To resolve that issue, you will need to try and reset the AutoCAD settings to defaults as follows:

  • Go to the Start on your computer, and then choose All Programs.
  • Locate AutoCAD, and under its settings, reset the AutoCAD configuration to the default state.

That process will undo a migration or to discard the customization changes that you might made after installation which are responsible for causing the problem. The following is the Windows Registry entry that is removed when you reset AutoCAD: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAutodeskAutoCADR18.2ACAD-A001:409

The value A001:409 will vary, and that will depend on the product and language that has been is installed.

Hello, Luis Hizon!

You can fix the problem this way. You are recommended to try these suggestions.

i) You can reset your AutoCAD Program to default setting.

ii) You can reset the registry entry.

AutoCAD: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAutodeskAutoCADR18.2ACAD-A001:409

iii) Lastly, you can reinstall the program by using the appropriate license key.

I think if you apply any of the suggestions above, you can get your solution.

Best of luck.
