Hello there buddy. upon reading your problem im quite sure that you are experiencing a registry error that creates a rebooting error messages. to fix this uninstall your AVG using YOUR UNINSTALLER PRO, and after the removal you should also do the registry removal of this product.

After you complete that make sure that you have no AVG associated startup in your msconfig start up menu. reboot your computer and your problem is solved!

have a nice day!

Hi Jedei,

To further isolate the problem try starting your program in Safe mode, this way we will know whether it’s a conflict or not. However, if you may notice that the service for your antivirus software is disabled just try to load the software only so we will know if there is no conflict. If it fails try to clean install AVG by removing folders of AVG under program files, program data and your user profile. After that reinstall AVG and see if the problem persist.

If you are using AVG antivirus but you are seeing an error every time you boot your computer, try uninstalling your current version and install the latest version. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your AVG antivirus among the applications and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process.

When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This will remove everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, restart the computer. After booting, download the free version of CCleaner and install it.

Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. When it is finished, close CCleaner then download the latest AVG Free Antivirus and install it. The latest version at the moment supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. See if this works. Also, make sure you only have one antivirus program or internet security application on your computer.

Don’t install multiple security programs on your computer because it will cause conflict on your system. If you want to convert CCleaner to Pro, download the codes and follow the instructions.
