I currently using Camtasia on my Windows PC. I have bought a licensed copy of the software, and I also have an authentic software key. But during registration a dialogue box says, Camtasia, our activation server is unable to register. Please help.

It seems there is a problem with the activation key you received with the software copy. In that case, you can directly contact customer care support for Camtasia. Visit this URL for more details on how to approach customer support.

Also, to register your software you need to authorize the application to use your internet connection. Ascertain that your firewall is not blocking any requests made by the software. After you disable the firewall, try to register your copy again. This method should work.

Since you are in the process of activating your software, most of the time registering an application requires an internet connection. That is probably the reason why it cannot validate your registration key because it cannot connect to its server. To have a successful activation, make sure your computer is connected to the internet. Check and verify that your internet connection is working.

Try visiting a website with your web browser or perform a speed test with Speedtest.net to check the current speed of your internet connection. If you see a problem, try disconnecting the network cable from the network port at the back of your CPU and then connect it back. If the problem continues, contact your internet service provider.

On the other hand, if there seems to be no problem with your connection but you cannot activate your program, go to TechSmith Support Buying and License Issues for support. You may also submit a ticket regarding your problem but you need to sign in to do that.
