Error 601 in using Dial-Up Internet connection

Hello Debrajbartels,

Here are the possible resolutions. I hope any one of them will help you fix the problem.

Method 1:

Go to Control Panel and find “Modems”, go to “Diagnostics”, then highlight the COM port which the modem is located on. Then click on “more info”, if your modem responds, then restart your system, if the problem repeats even after that, then reinstall the modem. If the problem still persists, press the keys Ctrl+Alt+Delete, select Start Task Manager, go to Applications tab in the Task Manager, Select “RNAAPP” and click on “End Task”

Method 2:

The problem might have occurred because of a change in your connection settings from your ISP. Contact your Internet Service Provider or a Technician.

Hope your problem gets solved soon. Best of Luck
