I’m trying to install Alchemy Catalyst but encountered an error during the installation.

I don’t know what the root cause of the error is but as far as I know, I was prompted for an update before installing Assembly.

How can I resolve this problem?

Help me on this. Thanks.

Alchemy CATALYST 8.0 hardware specifications:

  • Pentium 1GHz or faster processor

    • Windows Server 2003
    • Windows XP 32-bit or 64-bit
    • Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit Service Pack 1 with security updates
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 125 MB available hard drive space
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher

This version of Alchemy CATALYST is compatible only in three operating systems, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit, and Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit running on Service Pack 1 with security updates.

If you are running a different operating system other than these three listed versions, you might want to choose another version of the application that is compatible with your current operating system. If your operating system is listed above, try uninstalling and reinstalling the application.

You can also try checking your system for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to diagnose your hard drive. If you don’t have one installed on your computer, you may use Windows’ disk check tool.

  1. Right-click drive C then select Properties.
  2. Click Tools tab.
  3. Click Check Now.
  4. Check Automatically fix file system errors then click Start.
