Error 1617 while trying to simulate intray data on MS Simulator

Hello

When I try to simulate intraday data on MS Simulator, I get this error 1617 that says the directory does not contain any MetaStock files. The file still opens in MetaStock but I get this error message both before and after opening a file. This began after my usual download of the day’s data and automatically running the MetaStock export. This happens to all my MetaStock folders. I have not made any changes after the download of the data for the previous day. I have not had a similar problem before. What could be causing the issue? Please help. Thank you.

There is a tendency to become slow while working with large sets of intraday data. However, reading your error ‘The directory does not contain any MetaStock files’ seems that the MetaStock directory is either not valid or otherwise not available. i.e. the device has been removed. When your simulator looks like hang, you may help the simulator program to open up some metastock chart.Go to Metastock's menu, select File— Open and then wait to see the result.
