The TMPGEnc program displays “Error occurred….0xC00D36B2" when editing the timeline of my video or when I am applying Filter effect. I am running this on my Windows 7 PC and Windows Media Player 11. I don’t have problems using these programs before. I also used Avid Media Composer. How can I get this done? Please send me some help.

That problem is probably being caused by the version of the operating system that you are using, and therefore you will need to check that out. Check the following things on your windows operating system that you are using:

  • Whether it is a 64 bit or a 32 bit. You will need to obtain the application that is of the same version as the application. If the windows OS is a 32 bit, you will need to obtain a 32 bit application and vice versa.
  • The service pack of the application that you are using. In case you are using a service pack 3 application, it may not be supported by the windows operating system and in that case you will need to obtain service pack 2 and below
  • You can also just try reinstalling the application and see if that will solve the problem. The error could be occurring because the installation process had some problems.
