Hi Experts! I am trying to install Nitro PDF Reader on my Acer One Netbook with Intel Atom Processor and 2 GB of RAM. During the setup, the installation stops with error: “An error occurred during the installation of assembly

Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.4053",type="win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b, processor Architecture="x86". Please refer to help and support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80070002.” I was searching online for solutions but I could not find anything that has the same exact situation as mine.

Can someone please provide a solution?

Error 0x80070002 on Nitro PDF Reader Setup

Did you get the setup application that you are trying to install online? If yes then you may have downloaded a corrupt application and that is why it cannot be installed. As a workaround to help you, I will suggest that you do the following:

Go to the internet and search for another setup application for the nitro PDF.
Search from a different site, download it and try installing it and see if it will work.

The error can also be triggered from something that has to do with windows update, and therefore you will need to try restarting your computer and then try running the setup again.
