ERP Database Error 49153

When you try to connect to your Sage 300 ERP application or access a Sage 300, this error is displayed. “Can not access the database (error 49153).” How can I solve this error?

ERP Database Error 49153

To correct the above error in Sage 300, you must follow the following simple steps: In the Run command, type “Services.msc” and click OK. Look for SQL Server (SQL Express). If the status is Not Started, right-click and click Start to start the process. Once the Service Control pop-up window closes automatically, the following screen appears with the status Start. Once you log in to Sage, users can log in to Sage 300 ERP. This will solve your problem.
