You can download free 30-day trial AnyCount, Version 8.0 and after 30 days you can upgrade to full version.
Before counting please select target language for recognition and you can start counting your words.

To be honest I have no idea about it. After seeing your question I have googled it and found a site Any Count.
It looks very helpful to me and think it will help you to character counts in JGP.
Just download the software and setup to your PC.
Remember it is a trail version for 30 days only.
