Hi all.

I have downloaded Office 2010 Home and Student Trial but am unable to use. When I make an attempt to open any office application I receive this error code “This program can't start because oart.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem”.  I have tried all MS web solutions including reinstalling but only to be failed. Currently because of this problem I am using Open Office. However, I want to use MS Office because it is much better than open office. If this is a common issue for MS Office then I better not buy it.

I am searching for help. Can anyone?

Thanks.

There are several reasons why a trial version of MS Office gives out an error message when we try to use them. One reason could be that the trial version might have been expired already. When an issue occurs with downloaded MS Office 2010 or Student Trial version, we usually advised the user to uninstall the product and to reinstall it afterwards to make sure that all the necessary programs and applications are downloaded successfully.  Before uninstalling it though you must make sure that you have your trial version product key handy. You may go to this site for step-by-step procedure on how to uninstall and reinstall your product: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/290301.
