DoPDF created a Bad PDF

I printed some material off the web as PDF using doPDF. I wanted to change that pdf to a .txt using Acrobat 8.0 and I got following errors.

It didn't output PDF. anybody knows what,s going on?

 
Acrobat was unable to make this document accessible because of the following errors:
 
Bad PDF; could not read page structure. <Bad PDF; error in processing fonts; cannot find CMap resource file>[2]
 
Please note that some pages of this document may have been changed. because of this failure, you are advised to not save these changes.

Hello John,

Since you created and saved the file using DoPDF, it appears that the format you saved the file in is supported by Acrobat Reader. You will need to do the following to fix the issue:

  • Re-Open the file using DoPDF.
  • Use the Save As option and then choose from the options the PDF option that can be opened with Acrobat Reader.
  • After you have done that you can try re-opening the file using Acrobat  Reader and see it will open successfully.

If the error continues, the problem may be with the Acrobat Reader application, and therefore you might need to reinstall it to fix the bugs it might be having.

The latest version at the moment, ABBYY FineReader 14, supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 including Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016.

Requires 1 GHz or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 1.2 GB free space, 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution, and Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Internet connection is required for activating the program. Supported file formats include TIFF, JPEG, JPEG 2000, JBIG2, PNG, BMP, PCX, GIF, DjVu, and XPS. The trial version is limited to 100 pages only and will work for 30 days.
