I am told the Washington Post is offering free online access to its paper for all the Kindle Fire owners. Is it totally free or the users had to pay a minimum subscription fee? How long does this offer available for the users? Does The Washington Post offer free access to Kindle Fire Owners?

Hi Justin,

The Washington Post app (WaPo app) will be free for 6 months for Kindle Fire owners. After the 6-month trial period, there will be a USD $1 monthly fee for another 6 months and then the subsequent fees will be between USD $3-$5 per month. New editions of The Washington Post are available 5am and 5pm ET daily and will contain a minimum of 100 articles covered by 16 journalists.

The WaPo app will come as a standard app and can be removed from the Kindle Fire device if the owner wishes. The app will be available for users of Android and Apple tablets during the first quarter of 2015.
