I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007 in Windows XP, I need to know whether it's possible to recover accidentally deleted messages and contacts using Disk Doctors Outlook Mail Recovery .pst software.

This is indeed possible. The Outlook Mail Recovery (.pst) program is not just for inbox repairs, it can also restore .pst files in the following cases:

1. Messages, contacts or notes have been accidentally deleted
2. .pst files have been corrupted while using them over network
3. Files have been corrupted due to the 2 GB size limit for .pst files
4. Corruption in the .pst file header
5. Files have been corrupted due to the compacting of the .pst files
6. The files have been incompletely recovered by another data recovery program due to fragmentation
