Difficulty recovering webbased emails after accidentally deleting them on fastmail.fm?

I am confused about recovering webbased emails after deletion on fastmail.fm, if I delete an email in the imap outlook client sometimes it used to appear with a cross through it but didn't actually disappear straight away, lately it seems to disappear completely, into the trash can, but, what happens if I use the web interface, will it change to having a cross through it so I can undelete it, or will it go straight to the trash can? In fact what decides what happens on the web and on the imap outlook based interfaces?

Hi Marie Philips,

The deleted emails are gone to the trash can for a while depending on your desired truncating of the files or it is the system who will dictate of the truncation period before it is gone, If you accidentally deleted the file, you can always find it on the trash can, open the email and choose a function that says Move to… And then click the inbox, after which, the email will be recovered on the desktop and you can work with it now.
