Hi there,

It is a well-known fact that the Apple Ipad runs on iOS 3.2 which lacks the ability to multitask and has no support for flash 10.1 but at the same time the Samsung Galaxy Tab which runs on Android 2.2 (a.k.a. “Froyo”) has the ability to multitask and has flash 10.1 supports. Not until iOs 4 will the ipad get the multitasking and flash feature which means it lags behind the Samsung Galaxy Tab at present.

But when it comes to Applications, the Apple app store do have more applications than google app store but this will change in the coming days since Android’s backwards compatibility is top notch compared to apples almost nonexistent backwards compatibility

Although both of these gadgets are popular products, they differ in the operating system they use. All of Apple products run on proprietary operating system and it is the iOS which also comes and can be upgraded to different versions depending on the device’s specifications. It is the operating system made specifically for that kind of device to run.

Most of the newer versions of Samsung Smartphones run on Android depending on their version and specifications. But not all Samsung Smartphones run on Android operating system. One example is the Samsung Corby 2 Smartphone which runs on BADA operating system. It is also a Smartphone but is designed to use the brand’s proprietary operating system. Another one is the Samsung Champ Smartphone which also runs on a different operating system.
