First, you need to install any version of VB that suits your window.
The most commonly used is the VB.net. All you need to do is to open new project: File >> new project .
Messagebox will appear then type the word "visual basic" at the upper right textbox.
Click the windows application, then type your project name at the lower part of the message box then browse any folder you want to save your project.
And then a workspace will appear to create your project.
VB.net is so easy to use. The tools are there, all you need to do is to click the tools window>> click the tool that your going to use and then drag it to the window application/workspace.
NOTE: It is advisable to create folder to save your project first, before working a project at VB.
