I was trying to perform a party chat on my Xbox and suddenly an error prompted showing error Xbox 0x89231022. Can you please tell me why I am facing this issue and how can I solve it?
This error occurs due to the gold subscription of Xbox. You must have a gold subscription to remove this error. If you already have this subscription but still facing this then it is the time to update your subscription. You can update the same by
Sign in to your Microsoft account.
Select Services and subscriptions.
Under Next Billing, select the option Currently Pay for Subscription with Late Balance.
On the “Change how you receive these subscriptions” page, from the drop-down list, select the payment option you want to change.
After changing the payment method, choose Continue. This allows you to transfer the amounts you owe and directly calculate the new payment method.
