I have a MS PowerPoint 2003 presentation file. I want to print out a page of slides from MS PowerPoint, but there's always page numbering which is not important for me.

How do I deactivate this page number from my presentation when it would be printed?

Hi Jakuraitzuki,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with PowerPoint.

  • Click on the File Menu and then Select Print
  • Once on the Print Screen, Under Print Range Select Slides
  • The Type in the Slide Number(s). For example if you want slides 3 to 5, just type in 3-5, If you want 3 and 5, Type in 3, 5; or in some cases just the Slide Number, for Example Slide 6.
  • Then Click OK.

Hope this helps.

Hello Jakuraitzuki,

You want to remove the page number in the slides?

Here are the steps:

  • Select the slides you want the page numbers to remove, or to make it easier hold the Ctrl key and click the slides to select multiple slides. Click View menu then Header and Footer.

  • Click the slide tab and uncheck the Slide Number checkbox button.
  • Click Apply or Apply to All button to completely remove the page numbers on the slides.

If you are using PowerPoint 2007:

  • Click the Insert menu
  • Click Text tab, then the Slide Number
  • Uncheck the slide number checkbox
  • Click Apply.
