When you burn video you should check the compatibility of your burner, to the video that you are burning. If you rip the video from a site maybe the converter that you used is not compatible to the burner that is installed to your computer. On the other hand try to check if you used the video or data burning or the video that you are using is DVD or CD you should try all the options given by the burner that you have. You will never see the file until you find the compatible burner for that video. Check your video compatibility. Maybe it’s not VLC maybe it’s another player there are many reasons why your video cannot be found with your burner.

Well I am facing a similar problem but I guess the solution provided by Chraang might come handy. I actually didn't notice or I should say ignored the compatibility of my burner. I think I will try again and might face success this time. Thanks for the tip !

Cheers!
