Hi Guys,
An application compiled by myself in C and Win32 works to perfection when used with netbeans IDE.It does not shows any abberations whatsoever.However all my attempts to launch the application on Windows 7 fails miserably.

The error as give above states that "The program can't start because cygwin1.dll is missing from your computer.
Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Techies please come to my rescue.

Cygwin1.dll is missing from your computer
Try to distribute your cygwin.dll with the application. It should be located on the same directory. Try to put your cygwin.dll in your System32 folder and Windows will check cygwin.dll on the same directory where you open your application, on your program list, on System32 and all the directories in the PATH environment variable. And also, try to reinstall the application that you are running.

To fix this problem firstly remove the viruses from your system which might be responsible for the removal if this dll file in the first place.
You can download or copy this file from another computer and place it in the specified location.
Also reinstall Cygwin program to solve this error.
Repair registry errors frequently as you install and uninstall programs to prevent this error.
