How can I make a diagram with level 0 and level 1 for internet banking purposes? I’ve done some sketches with the entities and processes written on it. But I’m still having issues on making a data flow diagram. Could someone help me on this?

Hi James,

Do you need help in drawing the diagram or you need a guide on how the level 0 and level 1 diagrams should look like? If it is drawing, then you can use ms word to draw it. You just go to ms word menu and click on insert then shapes. There you will see a whole list of diagrams, but when drawing a flow chart, the most commonly used diagrams are the square, parallelogram, rectangles and ovals and the arrows which join these shapes. So click one so that it appears in the word document.

Once the shape is in word, you just right click on it and choose 'add text'. If you needed to know how to differentiate level 0 and level 1, then level 0 is basic and it is a summary of the details while level 1 tries to be more detailed in explaining what the flow chart is all about.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lee Hung.

To create diagrams, you can use MS Word. Just click on the menu and choose Insert > Shapes and you will have a variety of diagrams to choose from. You can draw the shapes, connect them and add text in them by just right clicking them. The diagrams Word puts at your disposal are sufficient for a wide range of applications.
