CRC Error while playing GTA 4

Hi,

Recently, I downloaded GTA 4 on my Win 7 Operating System and installed it properly but when I tried to launch this game an error message occurred. I meet all the requirements for this game but it shows the setup is corrupted. I have tried to reinstall the setup but the error still exists. I am unable to get the solution that is why I extremely need your assistance to fix this issue. Thanks in advance.

This is a cyclic redundancy check error and it appears as a result of data corruption. Try to install on a hard drive that you use not so frequently or on a different hard drive. I think that defragmenting your hard drive will also improve your chances and it is also good for computer.
