For using SSL certs we just changing our non-production cases. In all cases a window server contains and the process schedulers for nVision and Crystal reports; and Sun Solaris servers contains the databases, process schedulers and app servers.
When we try to connect nVision reports with SSL URL we are failed because the system says that the PeopleSoft connection has expired.
When our users try to log in using the non-SSL URL, they also can submit an nVision report.
Is there any serious problem or we need to change any config file??
Need your help. Thanks a lot.
Could not use SSL certs only non-ssl url is allowed
Dear Emerald hilton
According to the error message you applied earlier "the PeopleSoft connection has expired", I think you should try to set the "Report Repository" to https. Go to "People Tools -> Process Scheduler -> Report Nodes" and make sure that "Report Repository" is set to https. Another issue, make sure that the system time on both the user and the webserver are set correctly. If the system clock of the user is in the future time then the expire cookie would think that this session had already been expired and sends this error message. Try to go to "People Tools -> Security" and in the "Perm List" set the time-out there.
Hope this may help you.
Best of luck
