 I am using Windows 8 on my computer. I have successfully installed Corel Paint Shop Pro 4 but could not open it. I uninstalled it and installed Corel Paint Shop Pro 3 with the same result. Is Corel Paint Shop not compatible with Windows 8?

 You know I rather doubt that it works fully in Windows 8 since it’s still fairly new and is currently a dev build so naturally some programs still have some kinks in them and might not work correctly on Win 8. You can try to install it in compatibility mode though and see if it works that way. But this time it’s still too early that all programs are supported on Win 8. I suggest you run this on a build that it will work without problems, perhaps Win 7 or Vista.

Probably Corel paint shop pro that you just installed is not compatible with the windows 8 operating system, and having installed it twice it will be less likely that the problem is because some fault that may have occurred during the installation. Therefore you will need to do the following:
