Hi whiz, I am in the process of installing ImageMagick, but I couldn’t complete it. I ended up with an error message; ‘dll’ file is missing from your computer. So try to download it manually and place it in a folder. But still it’s not working. Whizzes guide me to resolve the issue, thanks.

The program can't start because CORE_RL_wand_.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this program.

The imageMagick program is an executable application and all executable applications need to be compatible with your device. Before you install any program do check that your device has the required space and the recommended processing power to execute the downloaded program. So do check the capabilities of your machine first before trying to run the imageMagick if it is okay then try repairing its applications which may be corrupted.

Hi Edward,
The error is because the CORE_RL_wand.dll file is damaged.
There are multiple way to solve this error.
Solution 1:
1) Download the repair tool from the Advancedfix official website
2) Install the downloaded software following the instructions mentioned to the system
3) Click 'Start Scan' button and check for the system errors
4) Select all the detected errors and click 'Fix button' to repair the registry problems
5) Restart the system after the process is completed

Solution 2:
1) Click 'Start' menu, type 'Restore' in the search box
2) Click the 'System Restore' option from the menu list
3) Select the 'Choose a different restore point' from the list
4) Confirm the selection and the system will be restarted and rolled back to the specific point
5) Restart the system after the process is completed

If you are having a hard time installing ImageMagick, check the system requirements again and make sure your computer meets those requirements. The latest version at the moment supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit only), Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit.

For servers, it supports Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (verify MSXML6 is present), Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit only), and Windows Server 2012. If the program is already installed but you can’t run it and your computer meets the requirements, try to uninstall and reinstall. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.

Once installed, start Revo then select ImageMagick among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then go to ImageMagick Download page and download the latest version for your operating system.
